BidPelican exists because of a simple observation: in South Florida, public contracts are some of the best work a small company can win — steady, paid on time, and big enough to change a year — but the opportunities are scattered across so many portals that most small crews only ever see a fraction of them, usually late.

A pelican patrols the same water every day and comes up with the catch. That's the job here. Twice a day, our patrol pulls the official public bid boards we've verified — Miami-Dade County today, with Broward, the Florida state system, SAM.gov, both school districts, and city portals onboarding one at a time. Every morning at 7, subscribers get one email: the contracts that match their trades and their counties, closing-soon first, with pre-bid meetings flagged and a link straight to the official posting.

We are deliberately boring about the truth. Listing titles come verbatim from the source. Deadlines are re-verified daily and expired listings are purged the same day. When a source can't be verified, we say so on the Sources page instead of papering over it. We don't promise wins, rankings, or insider anything — we promise you'll see your public work in time to bid on it.
